Hotel La Tour is on the Eastside of the city off a one way street called Park Street, near the centre of Birmingham. It is a ten minute walk from New Street station although Moor Street station is the nearest. In the city follow signs to the Bullring, Moor Street station and Millennium Point and you will be very near to the hotel which is a cream and black building with large black signage on it.

If you are arriving by train, please note that as of Sunday 28th April the Bull Ring facing entrance of New Street Station will be closed, due to the amazing re-development project. Just follow the below directions to reach Hotel La Tour:

On leaving your train, follow signs for Exit and Moor Street Station.
On leaving the station turn right and walk down a new walk way with a green planted wall on your left.
At the end, turn left up five steps and you will see Zara on your left.
You are now on the open Bull Ring concourse and will see the Bull statue on your right.
Walk straight across, in between The Sunglass Hut and Armani store.
Walk down the steps and see Moor Street Station straight ahead of you.
Down the street to the left of Moor Street Station, beyond the car park, you will see Hotel La Tour.

Birmingham International Airport also for NEC

It takes between 10 and 15 minutes on a direct train to New Street and there are approximately four each hour.

From ICC – Broad Street

Hotel La Tour is one mile from the ICC on Broad Street and it is approximately a 20 minute walk.

Arriving by car

By Road

When using Sat Nav, we suggest you look for Park Street, Birmingham, as various systems take people to different locations for Albert Street and our postcode due to the road changes in the city.

From M6

Leave at Junction 6 for the A38 and central Birmingham. Leave the A38 at the Aston University junction signed for Moor Street station, Millennium Point and Bullring shopping. Take the first exit at the roundabout signed as above and for Masshouse and get into the second lane. Go straight at the traffic lights, following the road round to the right onto Park Street. Hotel La Tour is directly past Masshouse Lane on your right and there is a pull-in bay at the front of the hotel for your convenience when dropping off luggage.

Hotel La Tour is 15 minutes form Junction 6.

Parking

Albert Street surface parking. This is off Fazeley Street, off Park Street, and is £5 for 12 hours and £10 or £12 overnight depending which you choose. Payment is in coins so if you don't have enough change just call into reception and we will always help you out.

Alternatively we have a fantastic offer at the Selfridges car park, named Moor Street. This is two minutes away and costs £5 for each exit so if you don't move your car and stay all week it will cost just £5. Go past the hotel, under the bridge, and take the left turn into the car park by the traffic lights.

You need to get your ticket validated at reception before you leave and if you need help with your luggage back to your car or would like us to accompany you from the car park back to the hotel just ask and we will do our best to assist.

Arriving by Train or on Foot

If you are arriving by train then you can easily walk in about two minutes from Moor Street station or ten minutes from New Street station; taxis are available outside the stations if you prefer.

From Moor Street simply turn right and follow the road down the hill and Hotel La Tour is ahead of you.

From New Street station, exit through the main concourse doors and turn left when you get to the road. Follow this road down and walk under the underpass crossing the road and heading to Moor Street station. Cross the road to pass in front of Moor Street station and follow the road down the hill towards Hotel La Tour.
