HOUSE RULES

Dear guests,

For your safety and comfort during your stay, we would like to clarify our house guidelines:

Room check-in is from 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Guests are given a key card upon registration at reception and are kindly asked to keep the bedroom locked at all times.

Guests are required to handover their key to the receptionist upon departure.

Rooms can only be used by guests who are registered at the reception with a valid identity document. Only 2 guests are permitted per room, or 3 in a family room (2 adults and 1 child).

Guests are not permitted visitors in their rooms that are not registered on the registration details at Reception.

The hours of 21:00 to 07:00 are our peaceful night times.  We invite every guest to be careful during this period to not cause noise that will disturb other guests. Disturbing other guests will not be tolerated and the hotel reserves the right to refuse and remove guests who are inconsiderate to this.

For your convenience we have provided a safe deposit box, located under the tea/coffee making facilities in your room. The hotel bears no responsibility for any loss or damage of your personal belongings.  In cases of any loss, you are kindly requested to immediately inform Reception. We suggest you double check the safe deposit box in your room before departure from the hotel.

All rooms have air conditioning. Please helps us to care for the environment by turning off your air conditioning if you are not in your room.

The hotel is entirely non-smoking. In the case of non-compliance with this rule, the hotel will charge a penalty of £150.00.

Wi-Fi internet is free and available throughout the entire hotel. Please use Guest Wi-Fi, no password is required.

Linen is changed every 3rd day. Used towels are changed daily if they are placed on the bathroom floor or in the shower tray.

If damage is caused by the guest to hotel property, the hotel reserves the right to reclaim costs for the damaged items as well as loss of earning from the room if it is left unfit for resale.

In all Guest rooms a DO NOT DISTURB sign has been provided.  Please note this sign cannot be displayed longer than 24 hours. After this time, the hotel reserves the right to enter the room to do a welfare check. Any rooms showing a DND signs will not be cleaned that day. Housekeeping finish at 3pm after which rooms cannot be cleaned, unless a prior arrangement has been made.

Hotel guests must have appropriate clothes and footwear when they are moving through the public spaces of the hotel.

Hotel guests are prohibited from bringing weapons, inflammable materials, or other dangerous chemicals into the hotel.

Hotel guests are not permitted to bring food and beverages into the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to remove any food and beverage not purchased within the hotel.

It is not permitted to use electric heaters or any other heating or cooking device within the bedrooms such as steamers, microwaves, or rice cookers.

You are not permitted to take from the hotel anything from the room inventory (e.g., pillows, blankets, towels). If items are found to be missing from the room, the hotel reserves the right to charge accordingly.

If you have any technical problem in your room during your stay, please inform us at your earliest convenience. In the case of late notice for any complaints of this kind to which the hotel has not been given the opportunity to react we will not be able to consider any kind of rate discount.

The hotel reserves the right to require a guarantee for extra expenses during reservation process or at the check in. Minimum amount to be deposited is £50.00 per room per night per stay.

A payment guarantee is required. In the case of a long stay the services are required to be paid on a weekly basis.

Payments are to be made in GBP according to the official average rate of the Bank of England on the arrival day.

All departures after 11am will be considered as late departures and additional costs of £10.00 per hour will be applied to the guest’s hotel account. If departure is after 3 pm an extra night will be charged.

In the case of the hotel needing to cancel a guest’s stay due to misbehaviour and disrespect of the hotel rules or staff, the hotel reserves the right to charge for full length of stay as per the reservation.

Illegal substances are not permitted within the hotel and guests found in possession or using any illegal substances will be asked to leave the hotel, but will be charged for full length of stay as per the reservation.

In the event of a fire alarm, please follow instructions from the evacuation plan attached on the inside of your main room door.  Fire alarms and systems installed are a legal requirement and are for the health and safety of our guests and staff.  In the event of an activation, we ask all guests to make their way out of the hotel to the front of the building whilst the matter is duly investigated.  Guests will be notified when it is safe to return to the hotel.  Compensation cannot be considered for this life saving feature.  We reserve the right to act against any guest found to have tampered/interfered with any fire detection equipment.  Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection equipment will be charged with any costs incurred and may be asked to leave the hotel.

Please be aware that audio and visual CCTV is in operation for the safety of our guests and staff.

Hotel La Tour has a no pet policy with the exception of assist dogs. For your convenience Hotel La Tour has an arrangement with local car parking facilities details are available from reception. The hotel takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to your vehicle at any time.
